Finally, we could only enter the mediocre life, a mediocre style exclusively belonging to adults. In the end, he began to find another life style in the adultsrsquo; world flooded by deceptions and deceits every day. Fortunately, Mark realized that he could actually live a life quite well in this adultsrsquo; world just like the duck in water did. So he began to forget his nostalgia about youth, because those times already passed away, and there was nothing worthy to be remembered.
When his fellows from his youth-hood appeared in front of him again, he realized he could no longer return to that youth world because he didnrsquo;t belong to there anymore and he was already different from them.
So he chose to betray them. In fact, everyone could end up into this step. It depended on how fast you could become mature, and how rapid you could be accepted by this world. There was no right or wrong about his later behaviors. It was just like this world where there was no simply right or wrong in it, because everything was changed. Betrayal was not shameful. Only people who stuck in the past should feel shameful about themselves. It was a right thing to do to choose to be mediocre, because everyone would end up into this step. The only thing mattered was how soon.
When Mark continued his running on the searching road, although he was no longer the same person as he was young, although he searched without any exact purpose, and although he just needed to find a life style belonging to an adult, he still got on that road with a big smile.
So I should also get on the road with smile. Perhaps one day, I would meet Mark accidently, the young man who already forgot his youth-hood, and the man who only wanted to rush forward.
